Replacement of the mast line on the line Jihlava – Telč

We have successfully completed an interesting contract for the reconstruction of a 110 kV line.
20.10.2023

In the autumn of 2022, we successfully completed the reconstruction of the 110 kV line connecting Jihlava and Telč in two stages. The first stage consisted of the reconstruction of the existing 110 kV power line 520, in the section: Jihlava – Kosov – Telč a length of 25.653 km. The original line was dismantled in its entire length, namely in the number of poles from No. 1 to No. 184. Along the same route, 168 new masts were erected.

The second stage was the reconstruction of the existing 110 kV power line 5522, in the section: Moravské Budějovice – Telč, 32.932 km long. A total of 199 poles were dismantled and replaced by 181 new poles along the original route.

In both phases, demarcation works for the position and height of the footings of the individual mast structures were carried out. The works were carried out continuously according to the following activities: site and rough groundworks and excavations, footing, and formwork alignment.

We worked individually according to the needs of the construction companies, who further divided the stages into sections. Thus, we moved throughout the entire scope of the construction. Both stages were completed by measuring the new pole locations, i.e. comparing them with the design and incorporating them into the information system of EG.D, a.s. The handover of the contract included measuring the deflections of individual phase conductors.

Thanks to the excellent coordination of the work, we did not fall behind in any stage and everything was duly handed over to the client on time.

A big thank you to the entire Highlands team.
