The Czech delegation, led by representatives of the Czech Republic's Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO), presented 15 Czech companies from the fields of energy, energy storage, construction, and innovative technologies in Warsaw. Infrastructure, industry, energy, and housing were the main themes that connected the entire international conference.
The Czech Republic was represented at the fair by David Müller, Director General of the EU and Foreign Trade Section of the MIT, and Martin Pospíšil, Director of the European Countries Department of the MIT.
The fair was also attended by high-ranking representatives of the Ukrainian government, including Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, who also serves as Ukraine's trade representative.
Mgr. Zlata Kostova and Ondřej Hrdlička, MTCP (Hons) represented HRDLIČKA spol. s r.o. at the event. The Ukrainian side of the holding company was represented by our colleague Ing. Yevhenii Spivak from GEODATA Ukraine (HRDLIČKA Holding).
From our company's perspective, participation in ReBuild Ukraine was primarily about establishing partnerships and seeking projects where we can bring concrete added value. During the meetings, we discussed topics such as digitization, laser scanning of objects, and the creation of BIM models – tools that significantly speed up construction preparation, refine design, and help manage implementation transparently.
Many projects have a longer life cycle, "from plan to implementation." This makes it all the more important to base reconstruction on quality data and proven procedures. We believe that some of the projects discussed will indeed be successfully concluded.
We also consider the newly established cooperation with the Partnership for Ukraine initiative, which offers a model of weekly inspirational internships, to be a significant step forward. During these internships, selected Ukrainian leaders visit sustainable projects in the Czech Republic and the border region, learn about companies in key sectors of renewal, and gain practical experience of "what works" – and what dead ends to avoid. Between 2023 and 2025, at least 200 interns are expected to go through the program, forming the basis of a network for developing partnerships in areas such as energy, heat, and drinking water.
ReBuild Ukraine has long confirmed that Czech industry and technical know-how have a firm place in the reconstruction of Ukraine. According to official information, it will take place again in Warsaw at the Expo XXI complex on November 12–13, 2026.
