Team building is always an opportunity to meet colleagues outside the workplace and get to know them in a different way than just through emails and work meetings. This year’s event was themed around a secret project called Protocol 42. We had team challenges, sports activities, and an evening get-together.
On the first evening, we gathered on the terrace, where management and the organizing team welcomed us with humorous speeches. This was followed by a group dinner, the division into teams, and the first task: to create a team flag and original identifiers for each member. There were no limits to our creativity. At the same time, we received the first clues about what awaited us the following day and what lay behind the mysterious name “Protocol 42.”
On Friday after breakfast, we took part in a team game designed so that everyone could enjoy it, regardless of age, physical condition, or level of competitiveness. The individual tasks tested our teamwork, communication, and creativity.
It is precisely during challenges like these that it becomes clear that a good team is not just about performance, but also about the willingness to pull together. Upon our return, lunch awaited us, followed by our favorite group activity. This year, we built towers out of toothpicks and modeling clay, and there was no shortage of original ideas or healthy competition.
The afternoon was devoted to relaxation, sports, and leisure activities. Those interested could play beach volleyball, footvolley, ringo, table tennis, or soccer, or take a dip in the pool. Others used the time for casual conversations with colleagues and enjoyed spending time together in a pleasant setting and beautiful weather.
The evening had a relaxed atmosphere. Sitting around the campfire and good cheer are simply part of teambuilding. It’s often in these moments that we realize most clearly that behind the job titles, projects, and tasks are people with whom it’s a joy to spend time.
The team-building event, full of energy, teamwork, good cheer, and sunny weather, came to an end on Saturday morning. After breakfast, we set off for all corners of the Czech Republic.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who participated in the team-building event and contributed to its wonderful atmosphere. Special thanks go to the organizing team, who put together a varied program, ensured the event ran smoothly, and made sure that this year’s Protocol 42 remained an experience we’ll remember for a long time to come.
We had a great time and look forward to more events together!
