Because HRDLIČKA, and above all, our employees, have been doing excellent work for several years now, we wanted to share our results with the public again this year, in 2025. So we entered two competitions and waited with bated breath to see how everything would turn out.
In one place, at the Municipal House in Prague, two different but in many ways similar events took place within a few days: the announcement of the Czech 100 Best competition and the Egovernment The Best 2025 gala evening. And in both cases, the name of our company was mentioned.
The "Czech 100 Best" competition, organized by Comenius, a pan-European society for culture, education, and scientific and technical cooperation, celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. According to the company's executive vice president, Tomáš Čáp, the goals of this nationwide activity include finding, selecting, highlighting, and recognizing Czech companies from a wide range of industries that have achieved outstanding, exceptional, or remarkable results over the long term.
This makes our success in this competition all the more meaningful. HRDLIČKA Group spol. s r. o. received an award in the CONSTRUCTION & TRANSPORT category.
The competition was evaluated based on nominations from a wide range of experts, their personal experiences, and knowledge of companies from the last 12 months, from professional practice, but also from specific cooperation with them. The award is therefore feedback for us from those who view the results of our work from the outside, but also from very close up.
The diploma, which was accepted by Mr. Martin Hrdlička at the Municipal House in Prague, naturally brought smiles to many faces. However, we are most pleased to be part of a group of companies that are actively advancing the Czech construction and transportation industries. This is also recognized by experts in the field.
The second big moment of this fall was the announcement of the results of the Egovernment The Best 2025 competition, which has been organized for 20 years by Egovernment magazine in cooperation with ICZ.
The aim is to highlight the most interesting projects involving the digitization of public administration in the Czech Republic. Central institutions, regions, cities, and municipalities are applying to participate, from large nationwide solutions to smaller-scale projects that have a more direct impact on the everyday lives of citizens.
It was in Egovernment The Best 2025 that we managed to win first place in the municipalities category for the MawisGeoportal – Kamenice nad Lipou project. The certificate was accepted by the youngest of the Hrdlička sons, Vojtěch. In his speech, he thanked the representatives of the municipality of Kamenice nad Lipou for their active cooperation: the head of the VŽP (construction and environment) department, Mr. David Brýna, and IT specialist Milan Procházka. Without modern-minded officials, we would not be able to implement such projects. And practical examples always provide the best references.
The award ceremony took place on November 24, 2025, with representatives of public administration, IT experts, and other guests in attendance. The diplomas were presented to the winning projects by, among others, the director of the Digital and Information Agency (DIA), the CEO of ICZ, the president of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, and the president of the ICT Union—people who significantly influence the direction of digitization in the Czech Republic.
These awards have confirmed that we are on the right track with our combination of geodesy, geomatics, and smart online tools. At the same time, however, they remind us that success cannot be taken for granted. We want to thank all our colleagues who do professional work every day, both in the field and in the office. We must continually monitor technological developments and effectively translate them into practical applications, providing our clients and partners with long-term, functional solutions tailored to their specific needs. Last but not least, we see the symbolism in MawisGeoportal – Kamenice nad Lipou, that even a smaller project can actually be big. It is a springboard for others who allow themselves to be inspired.
