Our app is not only a tool for construction workers, but it has also made it possible to reduce physical contact between construction participants in the current epidemic situation, yet maintain quality control. This demonstrated the quantitative and qualitative impact of the project, with which the MawisPhoto app was awarded 3rd place in the municipalities category of Egovernment The Best 2021.
The application was used for the construction works taking place in the municipality of Tetín. The municipality perceived the project as a success and commented on it with the following words: "As an investor, we did not want to, and could not, suspend or jeopardize the constructions due to deadlines, and at the same time we had to comply with epidemiological measures and government regulations. Thanks to MawisPhoto, we were able to ensure the implementation even in such a challenging non-contact period and at the same time have a retrospective overview of what was happening on site."
It is hoped that the award will help to make MawisPhoto part of the construction industry and be used by other investors, developers, and construction companies.
